ClearSend is developed by thinkb8 (contact: fs@thinkb8.com). We take your privacy seriously.

What we collect

We do not collect, store, or share your messages. The text you enter is sent securely to our analysis server, processed, and immediately discarded. We have no message history.

We store locally on your device: your chosen context (Personal/Work/Children), your language preference, and whether you have completed onboarding. This data never leaves your device.

Usage data

Our server logs a hashed (anonymised) version of your IP address for rate-limiting purposes only. This is deleted automatically after 48 hours. We collect no analytics, no behavioural data, and no personal identifiers.

Subscriptions

Payments are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see your payment details. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat, subject to their privacy policy.

Children

ClearSend is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

The service

ClearSend analyses text you provide and offers observations about communication patterns. It is an informational tool only — not a therapeutic, medical, or professional service. The analysis is generated by AI and may not always be accurate.

Your use

You may use ClearSend for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not use the app to analyse content that is illegal, abusive, or harmful to others.

Subscriptions

Access to ClearSend requires a paid subscription (monthly or yearly) after a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. You can cancel at any time through your App Store account settings.

Limitation of liability

ClearSend is provided “as is”. thinkb8 makes no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of the analysis. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on the app’s output.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
