Privacy Policy
Thinkb8 apps are built with privacy in mind. We do not sell, share, or monetise your data. Most of our apps store everything locally on your device and require no account. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in our games. If you have questions, write to support@thinkb8.com.
1. Who we are
Thinkb8 is an independent studio run by Frederik Strindberg, based in Norway. We build apps, write children’s books, make music, and develop AI tools. This privacy policy explains what data we collect (very little), why, and how we handle it across all Thinkb8 products — including Blok (iOS) / Zenblok (Android).
2. Blok / Zenblok
Blok (iOS) and Zenblok (Android) are the same premium puzzle game, sold under different display names on the two platforms. The bundle ID is identical: no.thinkb8.blok.
What Blok stores locally on your device
- Your high scores (Zen and Blok modes)
- Your daily challenge streak
- Your story progress (which levels you have completed)
- Your settings (sound, haptics, theme)
This data is stored on your device using standard system storage (SharedPreferences on Android, NSUserDefaults on iOS). It never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else.
What Blok does not collect
- No user accounts or sign-up required
- No personal information (name, email, address, phone)
- No location data
- No contacts, photos, or files
- No advertising identifiers
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
- No in-app purchases beyond the initial purchase
What you control
If you uninstall Blok / Zenblok, all locally stored data is removed by your device’s operating system. There is nothing on our servers to delete because we never received it.
3. Other Thinkb8 apps
BlinkMore
BlinkMore is a free eye-care reminder app. It stores your reminder settings locally on your device. It does not collect personal data, does not require an account, and has no analytics.
ClearSend
ClearSend analyses messages you choose to paste into the app. The text is sent to a language model API for analysis and is not stored, logged, or used for training. No user accounts, no message history, no data retention. Each analysis is processed and discarded.
TogeDoo (in development)
TogeDoo is a community app currently in development. When it launches, it will require an account to enable community features, and a separate privacy notice will apply. This page will be updated when TogeDoo is released.
4. App store services (Apple & Google)
When you download a Thinkb8 app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms collect their own data according to their privacy policies. This is separate from Thinkb8 and outside our control. You can read their policies here:
Apple and Google may report aggregated, anonymised statistics back to us (for example: total downloads per country, crash counts). These reports do not identify individual users.
5. Crash reports
If a Thinkb8 app crashes, the operating system may automatically generate a crash report and send it to Apple or Google. These reports contain technical information about the crash (stack traces, device model, OS version) and do not include personal data. Apple and Google may share these reports with us in anonymised form so we can fix bugs.
6. Children
Thinkb8 apps are suitable for general audiences, including children. Because we do not collect personal data, our apps comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for children, and similar laws.
Blok / Zenblok in particular has no chat, no social features, no advertising, and no in-app purchases beyond the initial premium purchase, making it safe for children to play.
7. International users
Thinkb8 is based in Norway. Our apps are sold globally through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Since we do not collect personal data in our games, there are no international data transfers to be concerned about.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the «Last updated» date at the top of this page. For significant changes (for example, when TogeDoo launches with community features), we will notify users in the relevant app.
